On Friday April 29th, 2005, +- 5:06 PM, a young American alligator, confused and disconcerted by the total redistribution of inhabitable space, crossed the street and stopped at Building 4052 of the Capital Circle State Office Complex in the Southwood area of Tallahassee, Florida.
If the creature could communicate with us, it would’ve asked for help: his ‘space’ had been seriously compromised. Over the Hedge comes to mind.
As it is almost always the case, her request was ignored and she got summarily transferred to an undisclosed location in the Florida wild. Socio-ecological darwinism of the Florida kind.
