A picture a day: seeing life in a whole new way
Time moves surprisingly fast. Short of writing a personal diary with daily logs in plain old black and white, photos do come close to the ‘real thing’, adding a pictorial twist to it, and at a fraction of the cost in time and effort. Why do it? When Taylor McKnight started taking a photo a day on January 1st, 2004, he never imagined project 365 would not only serve as a way to remember a year, but also it would help him understand what was important in his life. Taking a photo a day is a big undertaking, but with big payoffs. The concept of being able to look back at any day of the year and recall what I did, who I met, what I learned… convinced me there was value in the proposition. Some people I know prefer using Flickr or Facebook. I kind of like my photos on my server. It’s the old territorial in me. It just so happened that in my case all technical pieces of the puzzle finally came together on April Fool’s Day which is my starting point. I can’t say what to make of it. In any case, I salute you Taylor, Noah Brier, and many others for a great idea that benefits us all. Thank you.
Me gusta la idea de una foto por día. Tengo un app que es un diario y guardo la frase más importante del día o algo que haya resaltado. Pero las fotos están buenas. Lo voy a hacer.
Las nenas ya no parecen tan nenas…! Están hermosas.

Sí, es una buena idea. Requiere un iPhone o una camarita siempre en el bolsillo y acostumbrarse a usarla en todos lados…. a la nona Sara!! La clave es capturar fotos representativas de lo que fue o pasó en el día y de publicarlas ‘facilmente’. De lo contrario uno se cansa y se olvida. Un abrazo.

cómo te va? viste? finalmente me organicé.
Es “un trabajito” sacar una foto al día, pero con una camarita no muy grande y a siempre a mano, es posible;
que se yo… voy a intentar sacar una foto al día durante un año, porque los momentos y las imagenes son como el oro, con el paso del tiempo aumentan en valor y sé que tus primas cuando tengan tu edad van a querer recordar lo que vivieron durante estos días.
Así que si tenés una camara personal, sacá fotos sin temor.
